Raynier,  
Hi! I am just getting back to deeptalk.

This is a gnome type message, and the solutions I found were  
for reinstall of gnome, etc. That did not work.

What did work in this case was:  
And another mentions cleaning up your gnome configs:  
$ cd ~  
$ mkdir .gnome-config-bak  
$ mv .gnome .gnome2 .gconf .gconfd .metacity .cache  
.dbus .dmrc .mission-control .thumbnails .config/dconf/user  
.compiz\* .gnome-config-bak/  
$ rm -f .config/dconf/user
